Professional Journey
Andrea Aimar is an Italian photographer, born and raised in a small town near Turin. Passionate about documentary and editorial work, he discovered his love for photography during university and has been developing his craft ever since. Although he began pursuing photography professionally only in 2023, Andrea has already built a distinctive approach that blends curiosity, sensitivity, and cultural awareness.
Since embarking on his professional journey, Andrea has traveled extensively across Asia and Europe. His work reflects a strong engagement with the people and stories he encounters, capturing both everyday life and unique cultural perspectives. In the end of 2025, he joined the French press agency Hans Lucas, which now represents his reportage and documentary photography, further solidifying his presence in the international photography scene.
In addition to his documentary work, Andrea recently began collaborating with the Rome-based Gruppo Editorial LiveMedia for live music photography, expanding his creative scope.
